Our Mission

We exist to empower Cherokee County’s artisans and agrarians by providing a welcoming, rent-free storefront where they can sell their handmade goods, farm-fresh products, value-added items, and crafts throughout the year. Beyond a physical space, we offer grant support, resources, and practical assistance to help these talented creators grow their businesses, preserve traditional skills, and contribute more fully to our local economy.

Our Story and Leadership

Kelly Collins (Treasurer), Amanda Barrientes (Secretary), and Richard Brown (Board Member) came together after seeing a clear need: many gifted local makers and growers had no reliable, consistent place to connect directly with customers.

What began as a vision for a simple storefront quickly grew into a broader commitment. We realized these hardworking individuals also needed additional support—through grants and guidance—to overcome barriers, expand their reach, and thrive in our community.

As transplants, we approach this work with humility and gratitude. We are honored to support the people who make Cherokee County special—those who carry forward its agricultural roots, artistic traditions, and strong sense of community. Our role is not to lead, but to serve as a bridge, creating opportunities that allow local talent to shine and benefit everyone who lives here.

Through this organization, we aim to reduce economic hardship, celebrate our shared heritage, strengthen small businesses, and build a more vibrant, self-sustaining Cherokee County for current and future generations.

Committed to Excellence

We founded this non-profit with a deep respect for the rich heritage, creativity, and resilience of Cherokee County, Oklahoma. As three transplants who have chosen to call this community home, we quickly recognized both the tremendous talent among our local artisans and agrarians, and the challenges they face in making their work sustainable year-round.
